I am a Functional Wellness Practitioner with a background in the traditional sick-care system as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I also hold certifications as a Functional Medicine Practitioner and Functional Medicine Health Coach, and additional education in quantum biology, integrative and functional hormone and nutrition approaches, and the latest research in microbiome science, allowing me to bridge clinical understanding with in-depth root-cause, lifestyle-based support.Â
My journey into root-cause wellness began with my own health challenges—concerns that went unrecognized and inadequately addressed for years, and in some ways were worsened by the very treatments meant to help. That experience changed how I view health entirely.
Through a systematic, foundational approach to supporting the body’s natural ability to rebalance, I found my way back to wellness. I learned how to work with my body instead of fighting it—and I did so through the thick of motherhood and the rollercoaster of perimenopausal hormone changes (including stubborn weight gain that didn’t respond to “doing all the right things”).
Today, I help others understand their bodies, restore balance, and feel empowered to make informed decisions about their health—without feeling dismissed, rushed, or dependent on quick fixes.
